Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs announced the ‘團圓好市券’ event for traditional markets during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day shopping season.
These coupons are not cash support. Instead, people who bring eco-friendly products pay 100 Taiwan dollars to exchange them for coupons worth 200 Taiwan dollars.
Because the issuance dates and places of use are specified, they should not be understood as consumer vouchers that can be used anywhere based solely on their face value.

Show Eco-Friendly Products and Exchange Them Inside the Market
The Department of Commerce Development established coupons usable at participating traditional markets through the ‘花好月圓·團圓好市券’ event. According to a TVBS Health 2.0 report, participants can have event-day eco-friendly products—including reusable bags, reusable tableware, and tumblers—verified by on-site staff, then exchange 100 Taiwan dollars for one coupon worth 200 Taiwan dollars.
The coupons were announced for use to deduct purchase amounts at participating stores within the market that issued them. Therefore, this does not mean they can be used at stores in other regions or like a general payment method. The usage period stated in the report is from September 12 to October 11.
The event was introduced as a four-time issuance schedule on September 12, 19, and 25, and October 3. As of September 26, the actual quantities exchanged or remaining from issuance dates that have already passed could not be confirmed, so the on-site operation details for October 3 must also be checked separately.
A Bag Exchange Is Also Available Separately with 500 Taiwan Dollars in Spending
The same event also includes a separate benefit called ‘好市袋著走’. If a person spends a cumulative 500 Taiwan dollars at one market and submits proof of purchase, such as receipts or collection slips, they can receive one traditional bag, ‘茄芷袋’, at the service desk.
However, each market has a limit of 60 bags, with a restriction of one bag per person per day, and the offer ends once supplies run out. The coupon exchange conditions and bag exchange conditions differ. The coupon requires eco-friendly products and 100 Taiwan dollars, while the bag requires cumulative spending at the relevant market and proof of purchase.
Hsinchu City’s ‘好市滿竹’ Plans to Add 30,000 Vouchers
The Hsinchu City government said it would issue ‘好市滿竹’ vouchers for use at public markets separately from the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ event. Feng Chuan Media and TVBS Health 2.0 reported that the city government plans to issue a total of 30,000 vouchers, to be distributed on September 19, 23, October 3, and October 7.
These vouchers also follow a structure in which people bring reusable bags or tableware, shop at the market, and then pay 100 Taiwan dollars to exchange them for a 200 Taiwan dollar voucher. They were planned for use like cash at Hsinchu City public markets, but this is a separate local program from the nationwide participating-market coupons. Distinguishing the names and usage scopes of the two coupons is most important.
