Apple has officially confirmed the public release of iOS 27, but not all of the features introduced in advance are included in the first release.
The feature that reads message conversations to create schedules and notes, along with the automatic password-change feature, has been postponed to a later update.
If these features do not appear even after updating your iPhone, you should first consider the possibility that this is an issue with the release schedule rather than a settings error.

A Feature That Moves Promises in Messages to Your Schedule
The first delayed feature suggests Reminders, Notes, and Calendar items based on the context of conversations in Messages. It was designed to interpret mentions of appointments, tasks, or information to record in Messages and create an item in Apple’s built-in apps with a single tap.
This feature focuses on reducing the need to reread conversations and manually enter dates or tasks. According to a report by Ubergizmo, the feature introduced in the developer beta was excluded from the initial iOS 27 release and is expected to be provided in a future software update. Therefore, installing iOS 27 does not necessarily mean that you can use this suggestion feature in Messages right away.
The Feature That Automatically Changes Weak Passwords Is Also Waiting
The second feature postponed is automatic password changing in the Passwords app. It was introduced as a feature that would notify users about weak or potentially compromised account credentials and automatically handle the password-replacement process through integration with Safari on supported websites.
According to reports, this feature was planned as a security feature that would allow users to avoid going through password-change procedures on each individual site. However, it is not included in the current initial iOS 27 release. The feature’s disappearance in beta 5 was confirmed first, and it was later reported that the delay was made official on Apple product webpages as well.
Users who have been waiting especially for this feature should not assume that it will automatically change their existing passwords. Until a subsequent update is released, they will need to change passwords and conduct security checks for each account themselves.
“Future Updates” Is Not a Date
The delay of both features also applies to iPadOS 27 and macOS 27. Apple said that the two features would be included in later operating-system updates, but it did not provide an exact release date. Ubergizmo explained that such features can generally be included again in a minor update such as iOS 27.1 or iOS 27.2, but this is not a schedule confirmed by Apple.
iOS 27 introduced settings for adjusting Liquid Glass transparency and readability, along with features for adjusting composition and expanding backgrounds in the Photos app and removing unwanted subjects. However, for items that directly affect everyday usage, such as automation or security features, it is better to distinguish separately whether they are included in the initial version. What is confirmed in this iOS 27 release is that the two features were delayed, not canceled, and their actual availability will not be known until a subsequent release is issued.
