3-day Seoul stage connected through time travel

Youngtak held ‘2026 YOUNGTAK CONCERT [TAK SHOW 5 : TAK TO THE FUTHURE]’ at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul from October 3 to 5. The concert was the fifth season of Youngtak’s branded concert ‘TAK SHOW,’ and the central theme of the stage was time travel.

The concert began with a scene of traveling into the past in a classic car, and Youngtak performed ‘꺾어’ and ‘폼미쳤다,’ the title tracks of his 3rd full-length album ‘GOGO.’ The story then continued through songs as the character, now a freshman, confronted a university singing contest, first love, and his father’s feelings. Rather than simply listing the concert’s song order, the production guided the audience through a single narrative, which was a defining feature of this Seoul stage.

Existing songs including ‘계세요,’ ‘사랑옥,’ ‘누나가 딱이야,’ ‘막걸리 한잔,’ ‘펭귄,’ ‘니가 왜 거기서 나와,’ and ‘찐이야,’ along with tracks from his 3rd full-length album, were also performed. At the end of the concert, he created an encore stage with ‘Psycho World’ and ‘이불’ and reportedly held a photo session with the audience.

Contrast onstage created by collaborations and K-pop covers

The concert also included guest collaborations. Youngtak sang DAY6’s ‘한 페이지가 될 수 있게’ with singer and actor Kim Dong-jun, and performed ‘펭귄’ and ‘고속도로 로망스’ with singer Kim Jang-hoon. These moments presented familiar Youngtak songs blended with different voices.

Stages that adapted idol-group songs in a trot style were also introduced as an element attempted for the first time. He reinterpreted BIGBANG’s ‘뱅뱅뱅’ and Girls’ Generation’s ‘소원을 말해봐’ and included them in the concert. Since representative trot songs and K-pop covers were placed together, the concert’s description as “generational integration” can be seen in its genre-crossing song selections and stage composition.

After the Seoul concert, the tour is scheduled to continue in Jeonju on October 24–25, Daegu on November 28–29, Incheon on December 19–20, and Busan on January 16–17, 2027. However, these are reported future plans, so the detailed schedule and ticketing information should be reconfirmed through the organizer’s announcements before the actual performances.
