National Singing Contest: Open Recording Schedule Meeting Local Festivals in October

Open recordings of the ‘National Singing Contest’ are scheduled to take place alongside local festivals in Hapcheon and Gochang.

In Changwon, the final-round recording has already been completed, and the recording site for the Seogwipo City episode has also been made public.

The event dates, broadcast dates, and participation procedures differ by region and therefore need to be viewed separately.

3-Line Summary
1. National Singing Contest recordings continue by region in October
2. The Hapcheon final round is scheduled for October 10
3. The schedule is based on announcements by local governments

Hapcheon Stage to Take Place on the Same Day as the Hwangto Hanwoo Festival

Hapcheon County plans to hold the final round of the ‘National Singing Contest Hapcheon County episode’ at 2 p.m. on October 10, during the 4th Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo Festival. The venue is the inline skating rink at Hapcheon County Residents’ Sports Park, and the county stated that the event will be moved to the Hapcheon County Residents’ Gymnasium in case of rain.

Applications were accepted through October 1, and 15 people or teams that passed the preliminary round will advance to the final round. Nam Hee-seok will host, and guest singer performances by Shin Seong, Seong-ri, Yoon Tae-hwa, Gu Su-gyeong, and Na Ye-won are also scheduled.

This event is not limited to adding one more festival stage. Hapcheon County’s position is that it is preparing the event as an opportunity to promote the Hwangto Hanwoo Festival, local tourism, and local specialties along with resident participation. However, this reflects the county’s plans and expectations and does not confirm the actual broadcast schedule or on-site results after the event.

Gochang Recording Scheduled for October 17 During the Moyangseongje Festival

Gochang County announced that it will hold the ‘National Singing Contest Gochang County episode’ in conjunction with the 53rd Gochang Moyangseongje Festival. The preliminary round is scheduled for October 15 at the Gochang Cultural Center, while the final-round open recording is scheduled for 2 p.m. on October 17 at a special stage in the parking lot of Gochang Walled City.

Eligible applicants include Gochang County residents and local employees and students, excluding established singers. Participants who pass the preliminary round will perform onstage, with Moon Hee-ok, Woo Yeon-i, Son Bin-a, Seong-ri, and Bin Ye-seo scheduled to appear as guest singers.

Gochang County stated that it will create a stage for visitors to the Moyangseongje Festival and residents to enjoy together. Because the festival and program are brought together at one location and during the same period, the schedule allows audiences to experience not only the performances themselves but also the broader flow of the festival taking place at Gochang Walled City.

Changwon Completes Recording and Announces October 25 Broadcast

The Changwon Special City episode completed its final-round recording on September 22 at a special stage at 3·15 Marine Nuri Park in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon City stated. Kim Seong-hwan, Park Sang-cheol, Jang Han-byeol, Jeon Yu-jin, and Ryu Won-jeong, among others, appeared onstage with the final-round participants.

According to reports from Changwon City and local media, the episode is scheduled to air on KBS 1TV on October 25. Changwon, where recording has been completed, and Hapcheon and Gochang, where final rounds are scheduled, are connected through the same program, but the information readers need to check differs. For Changwon, the key point is the scheduled broadcast date; for Hapcheon and Gochang, the focus is on the final-round schedule and the participation and festival-related details.
