So what does a one-day inflow of $2,814만 mean, and what does it not tell us?
The key is not to merge product-specific fund flows and the XRP price into a single conclusion.

KuCoin, citing SoSoValue data, reported that XRP ETFs recorded a net inflow of $2,814만 in a single day on August 26. According to the outlet, this was the second-largest single-day inflow of 2026. The largest daily inflow was $4,610만 on January 5.
The same report stated that XRP had risen to around $1.69 in the previous week before encountering resistance, after which its price declined. However, the fact that a price correction and ETF inflows occurred together does not by itself establish that one caused the other.
This distinction matters. A daily inflow is the amount of money that entered ETF products that day, while the XRP price is a market price that moves separately. Even if all the figures appear large, they should not be read as signals pointing in the same direction.
Bitwise 46%, While Two Products Were Recorded at 0
The $2,814만 should not be viewed as a single block alone. In KuCoin’s report, the Bitwise XRP ETF accounted for $1,312만, or 46% of the total. The Franklin XRP ETF followed with $900만, and the Canary Capital XRP ETF with $601만.
By contrast, the 21Shares XRP ETF and the Grayscale XRP ETF each recorded a fund flow of 0 that day. This is why a headline stating “XRP ETF inflows” alone does not show which products attracted demand.
KuCoin put inflows over the 5 trading days from August 20 through 26 at $9,745만. Daily amounts were $1,324만, $1,838만, $1,382만, $2,387만, and $2,814만. While the consecutive inflow trend itself can be confirmed, product-level shares must also be considered to avoid missing the actual pattern.
An August Record Is Not Yet a Result
At the time of KuCoin’s report, cumulative August inflows stood at $1억887만—where 억 denotes 100 million and 만 denotes 10,000—making it the second-largest monthly figure of the year. The highest monthly record for 2026 cited by the same outlet was $1억3,194만 in May.
The report stated that the record could be surpassed if the recent pace continued through the remaining trading days. However, this is a possibility, not a result showing that the record has already changed. Determining whether a monthly record was set requires actual figures from subsequent trading days.
Care is also needed when comparing figures. Ad-hoc-news.de noted differences in how reports related to XRP ETFs are compiled, while Altcoin Buzz separately reported net inflows of $5,400만 over 5 trading days. Therefore, it is difficult to directly add totals from different reports or treat one figure alone as a definitive total for the entire market.
What can be read from this trend is an ETF fund inflow at a specific point in time. A price outlook or a new monthly record cannot yet be confirmed from those figures alone. It is safer to check the date, amount by product, and the distinction between cumulative and monthly figures together.
