A separate general Nintendo Direct is scheduled for September 9. Nintendo Life reported that the broadcast will deliver news and announcements over approximately 45 minutes. It is about 15 minutes longer than the Zelda special on the previous day and, unlike the broadcast on the 8th, which focuses on a single series, is a lineup previewing multiple news items and announcements.
Although both broadcasts use the same Nintendo Direct name, their stated roles differ. On the 8th, the theme of The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary is explicitly stated. On the 9th, general news and announcements are previewed. The fact that they are scheduled on consecutive days alone does not support concluding that the same title will appear in both broadcasts or that a particular new game will be announced during the general edition.
After the general Direct on the 9th, a Nintendo Treehouse presentation will also follow. The Asia and Oceania schedule for the Zelda special on the 8th included 11 p.m. in Japan, 10 p.m. in Western Australia, and 0 a.m. the following day in Eastern Australia. The provided notice does not directly list Korean time. Therefore, there is no basis for asserting overseas time listings as Korean time.
The broadcasts can be watched on the Nintendo of America YouTube channel or the Nintendo channels for each region.
